Friends of Tucker Mountain
Worked with local Newbury community leaders and interested residents to form Friends of Tucker Mountain, Inc. - a nonprofit to support Tucker Mountain Town Forest through fundraising, volunteerism, education and events.
Alliance for Vermont Communities
Served on the board of directors and conducted a strategic planning session to chart the future priorities and activities of the Alliance for Vermont Communities in central Vermont in the communities of Royalton, Sharon, Strafford, and Tunbridge.
Organizational Development
Worked with numerous nonprofit organizations, including Friends of the Verde River, Halls Lake Association, RiversEdge West, and the Verde River Institute, to identify strategic priorities, improve organizational operations and management, and clarify and advance mission-focused work.
Verde River Planning Toolbox
Worked with Friends of the Verde River on a collaborative project with the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy's Babbitt Center for Land and Water Policy, and the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust to develop and disseminate a toolbox of innovative policies to improve integration of land use decisions with water management at the municipal and county level,
Sustainable River Recreation
Contracted with American Rivers to develop recommendations and resources to manage and expand recreational opportunities, enhance geotourism and economic development, and protect the natural resources of the Verde River and surrounding region.
River Recreation Master Planning
Contracted with the Town of Camp Verde to compile and analyze information gathered in the planning process and through community engagement to develop a comprehensive river recreation master plan for the Verde River, incorporating recreation enhancement, public education, safety, and enforcement.
